Thanks for posting this! My 99 Sienna has the exact same crack in the top of the radiator that you replaced I will be ordering a new radiator and following this guide.
thank you for this, it gave me the courage to attempt the radiator repair myself. This was the night before a thousand-mile trip to Yellowstone and back, no pressure of course. Luckily it all went well except for a minor fitting issue; and I forgot to tighten the transmission fluid connectors before installing, but that was easily remedied.
I realize this has been quite a while back, but I have a related question.
I need to replace just the fans on my van's radiator. Do I need to take the entire radiator out to do so? It doesn't look like I should have to, but I haven't seen it done any other way yet.
This is a fantastic website, full of useful resources and great layout very easy on the eyes. Your blog really helped my search and i really liked it. Please do keep up this great work.
Wow! People have been having a hard time trying to find videos and tutorials on how to replace their radiators, especially those for older models and this will definitely help them out. Thank you for sharing. Jimmy Reeder
